I’ve had a camera in my hand for just about as long as I can remember. This can most likely be attributed to my late grandfather’s need to document every major and minor life event via photographs and videos, which if you ask anyone close to me, is something I’ve consequently inherited.

I got my first camera when I was about three or four years old — a small, plastic Polaroid I can remember toting around everywhere, snapping photos of everything. Truthfully, much hasn’t changed since then. I’m only about a foot and a half taller than I stood back then, but now instead of the pink and purple Polaroid, I carry around my Nikon D7000.

Photography isn’t just a hobby for me. It is a vital part of my life and shapes how I view the world around me. It is integrated into nearly everything I do. It’s about capturing the emotions of the subject. It’s about creating memories for a lifetime. It’s about telling meaningful stories through moments frozen in time. And if you’ll let me, I would love to tell your story.
